Verschiedene Kunstmotive des Künstlerteams RE:SORB aus Berlin verwandeln das wunderschöne Barockschloss Köpenick mit seinen kunstgewerblichen Schätzen in ein besonderes Ausflugsziel. Das 3D Mapping lässt die Schlossfassade sich verwandeln, transformieren, Steine brechen heraus und fügen sich wieder ein, eine einzigartige, dreiminütige Show der Extraklasse.

Schloss Bellevue

Der Berliner Amtssitz des Bundespräsidenten war 2017 beim Festival of Lights vertreten. Zum ersten Mal wurden Video-Mappings auf die Frontfassade von Schloss Bellevue projiziert. Der Bundespräsident hat einen mit 2000 Euro dotierten Sonder-Award zum Thema Demokratie ausgelobt. Video-Mapping-Künstlerinnen und -Künstler aus aller Welt wurden aufgerufen, ihre Ideen und Visionen zur Demokratie in Bild und Ton umzusetzen. Welche Ideen die Bewerber*innen hatten und wie sie diese umgesetzt haben war eine Überraschung für die Besucherinnen und Besucher des Festivals. Die Projektion wurde am 6. Oktober 2017 um 21.00 Uhr von Bundespräsident Steinmeier eröffnet. Anschließend waren die Video-Mappings bis zum 8. Oktober 2017 jeden Abend zu sehen. Besucher konnten für Ihren persönlichen Favoriten voten. Hier ist das Intro Mapping für den Wettbewerb.

Various art motifs of the artist team RE:SORB from Berlin transform the beautiful baroque castle Köpenick with its art and craft treasures into a special destination. The 3D mapping lets the castle facade transform, stones break out and reinsert themselves, a unique, three-minute show in a class of its own.

Castle Bellevue

The Berlin official residence of the Federal President was represented at the Festival of Lights in 2017. For the first time, video mappings were projected onto the front facade of Bellevue Palace. The Federal President offered a special award of 2000 euros on the theme of democracy. Video mapping artists from all over the world were called upon to translate their ideas and visions of democracy into images and sounds. What ideas the applicants had and how they realised them was a surprise for the visitors of the festival. The projection was opened by Federal President Steinmeier on 6 October 2017 at 9 pm. Afterwards, the video mappings could be seen every evening until 8 October 2017. Visitors could vote for their personal favourite. Here is the intro mapping for the competition.
