The Kolding Light Festival was held for the first time in December of 2013 in Kolding city, Denmark. The date is fixed on the second weekend in December each year. It’s a beautiful event preluding the upcoming Christmas season.
The festival’s idea is to give visitors a new and different experience of Kolding City using light and sound. With exciting lighting sets, video mappings, interactive installations and lightart, the urban space presents itself in a whole new light.
During the Festival of 2016 the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS Berlin sent its famous “Guardians of Time” to join the Kolding festivities.
