Wie im FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS: Berliner Hauptbahnhof leuchtete zum Europatag am 9. Mai 2021!

Riesiges leuchtendes Europaherz auf dem Berliner Hauptbahnhof zum Europatag
bot ersten Vorgeschmack auf das diesjährige FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS.

Mit einer großen Leuchtbotschaft präsentierte sich der Berliner Hauptbahnhof zum Europatag am Abend des 9. Mai. Er gab damit auch einen ersten Hinweis auf das diesjährige FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, bei dem der Hauptbahnhof neben vielen weiteren Bahnhöfen, Gebäuden und Plätzen wieder vertreten sein wird. Mit den Worten „Alles Gute zum Europatag“ und einem Herz aus den Europasternen grüßte er über eine großflächige Lichtkunst-Projektion Berliner*innen, Gäste, Reisende – Menschen in der gesamten Europäische Nation. Die Projektion erstrahlte auf den beiden Bahnhofsfassaden am Eingang Washingtonplatz und war am Europa-Sonntag in der Zeit von 21 Uhr bis Mitternacht zu erleben. Für die kreative und technische Umsetzung im Auftrag der Deutschen Bahn AG zeigte sich das Team vom FESTIVAL of LIGHTS verantwortlich.

Just like at the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS: Berlin Central Station lit up for the Europe Day on the 9th of May!

Huge glowing European heart at Berlin Central Station on Europe Day
offered a first preview of this year’s FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS. 

On the evening of 9th May, Berlin’s main railway station presented itself with a huge luminous message on Europe Day. It also gave a first impression of this year’s FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, in which the main station will again be represented along with many other stations, buildings and squares. With the words “ All the best for Europe Day“ and a heart made of European stars, it greeted Berliners, guests, travellers – people in the hole European nation – via a large-scale light art projection. The projection was illuminated on the two station facades at the Washingtonplatz entrance and could be experienced on Europe Sunday from 9 p.m. to midnight. The FESTIVAL of LIGHTS team was responsible for the creative and technical implementation on behalf of Deutsche Bahn AG.
